Yin Yang Yoga was initiated in 2018 and evolved from the vision of Dhirendra Bisht and Amit Payal. Dhirendra and Amit had witnessed a change in their city over the past decade and desired to share this new vision with the rest of the world by starting a school that could deeply focus on Yoga and its principles of time-tested antiquity. Today, there are thousands of schools in Rishikesh and all around the world, catering to an ever-growing stream of students and spiritual seekers from across the world. This has led most schools to emphasize simply making Yoga a money-oriented business at the expense of quality.
The two cousins, born and raised in Rishikesh wished that the people understand and realize Yoga for its real essence and origin. It is this passion that motivated them to start a school with an unparalleled level of education. The nomenclature of Rishikesh Yin Yang Yoga conveys the unification of the name of the city Rishikesh, which is called the world capital of Yoga, and "Yin Yang Yoga," which means Yoga family. Amit and Dhirendra chose this nomenclature so that the basic sense of togetherness instituted during their familial bonding gets streamlined in their students. These students rarely remain students and become an integral part of the Yoga family in Rishikesh.
